To reduce user transfer costs, BNB Chain now offers completely gas-free USDT and USD1 transfers. The “Zero-Fee Carnival” event delivers ongoing transfer benefits for users.
This campaign covers various common transfer scenarios. Users pay no fees when withdrawing from major centralized exchanges, and wallet-to-wallet transfers between individuals are also free. Even assets moved via cross-chain bridges incur no charges. These measures significantly lower barriers to stablecoin adoption, making transfers easier and more affordable.
Since the event launched, users have received over $4 million in gas fee subsidies—real cost savings. This initiative has been widely welcomed, with BNB Chain maintaining industry-leading stablecoin trading volumes and active user numbers, underscoring user approval for zero-fee transfers.
BNB Chain has partnered extensively with global centralized exchanges to offer stablecoin withdrawals with no gas fees. Participating platforms include leading trading service providers. Users holding USDT or USD1 on these platforms can withdraw to BNB Smart Chain (BSC) or opBNB at no cost.
This partnership eliminates network fees for exchange withdrawals. For example, withdrawing USD1 from a mainstream exchange to BNB Smart Chain is free if the withdrawal amount is at least $10. Some platforms allow USDT withdrawals to BNB Smart Chain with no minimum. Select partners also provide special fee policies for USD1, highlighting their support for users.
BNB Chain subsidizes fees for users of leading wallets to thank the community for its support. Supported wallets include Trust Wallet, SafePal, TokenPocket, Gate Wallet, MathWallet, imToken, Coin98 Super Wallet, and other major apps.
USDT and USD1 have different zero-fee policies. Each wallet address receives two free USDT transfers per day, while USD1 transfers are unlimited and always free. Each transfer must be at least $0.10, and only direct transfers between wallet addresses on BNB Smart Chain are eligible.
Note: Swap transactions within DApps are not included in this promotion. Only direct token transfers between wallet addresses qualify for zero fees.
To make asset transfers from other blockchains to BNB Chain easier, BNB Chain partnered with top cross-chain bridge providers Celer cBridge and Meson.fi for zero-fee bridging services.
Celer cBridge lets users bridge USDT from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, and Optimism to BNB Smart Chain with no cross-chain fees. Users can move assets to BNB Chain and explore ecosystem DeFi opportunities.
Meson.fi supports USDT bridging from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, and Tron. BNB Chain and Meson.fi jointly offer a fee rebate policy, delivering a truly zero-cost cross-chain experience.
The “Zero-Fee Carnival” campaign showcases BNB Chain’s commitment to advancing stablecoin adoption. By collaborating with exchanges, leading wallets, and cross-chain bridge services, BNB Chain has built a zero-cost transfer system covering withdrawals, transfers, and cross-chain transactions. This reduces USDT transfer costs and increases stablecoin liquidity and usage frequency. More partners are expected to join, making stablecoin transfers even more convenient for users.
Yes. USDT supports cross-chain transfers, but USDT on different blockchains (Omni, ERC-20, TRC-20, etc.) cannot be transferred directly between networks. Use the appropriate blockchain address for each transfer.
Select USDT, click “Send” or “Transfer,” enter the recipient’s wallet address, confirm the amount and fee, then submit. Once the system confirms, USDT transfers to the recipient’s account.
TRX is used to pay TRC20 USDT transfer fees. On the TRON network, USDT transfers require TRX to pay transaction fees, which are typically paid by the sender.
