The BWB Wallet is a digital wallet designed for secure management of BWB tokens on the Base chain. With a compatible Web3 wallet app, you can easily set up your BWB Wallet, store tokens, and handle transfers.
Launch your crypto wallet app and tap the "Wallet" icon at the lower right corner to open the wallet management screen. Then, click the "All" button at the upper right. This will show a list of all supported blockchain networks.
When the search bar appears, type "base." Select "Base" from the list of results. Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 solution known for fast transaction speeds and low fees. Adding Base enables management of BWB tokens and other assets on the network.
After adding the Base chain, return to your wallet screen. Tap the "+" icon in the "Token" section to open the add token interface. Enter "BWB" in the search bar, and select the BWB token from the results. Tap the "+" icon next to BWB.
When you see "Added to favorites," your BWB Wallet setup is complete. BWB will now appear in the "Token" section, allowing you to check balances and manage transfers.
Depositing BWB tokens to your wallet follows the same steps as other crypto assets. To transfer BWB from an exchange or another wallet, follow the instructions below.
Select BWB in your wallet app's "Token" section. Tap the "Receive" button, and your unique BWB wallet address will appear. This address is used to receive BWB from other wallets or exchanges.
You can share your BWB wallet address in two ways. First, copy the displayed address and send it to the sender—always use the copy function due to the length of the string. Second, use the QR code. The sender can scan the QR code to input the address accurately.
From the exchange or wallet where you hold BWB, choose the withdrawal or transfer option. Paste your BWB wallet address into the recipient field, enter the amount to send, confirm the network fee, and complete the transaction.
Depending on network congestion, your BWB deposit usually arrives within several minutes to half an hour. Once the deposit is complete, your wallet balance updates, and you'll see the transaction in your history.
Key reminders: Always use the Base chain network for transfers—sending from another network can result in asset loss. For your first transaction, test with a small amount to confirm receipt before sending the full amount. Always copy and paste wallet addresses to prevent manual entry errors.
Open the Bitget Wallet app and tap "Create a wallet." Follow the prompts to finish setup and set a password for enhanced security.
In the "Token" section, select BWB and tap "Receive." Copy your BWB wallet address or use the QR code to transfer your funds.
BWB Wallet security depends on private key management. Self-custody wallets offer high security but come with loss risk. Custodial wallets are managed by exchanges and are convenient, but their security depends on the provider. Choose based on your needs.
BWB Wallet supports BWB, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major cryptocurrencies. You can manage assets across multiple blockchain networks.
The typical deposit fee for BWB Wallet is about $0.45. Fees may vary with the amount or network congestion. For current rates, please check the official website.
To restore your BWB Wallet, you'll need the mnemonic (recovery phrase). Enter the mnemonic to recover your account. If it's lost, recovery is impossible—so securely store your mnemonic when creating your wallet.
BWB Wallet offers secure and convenient digital asset management. Compared to other wallets, it features fast transactions and an easy process for buying and trading BWB, making it more efficient for users.
